Louis Michel was the son of Michel Labbé and Dorothée Shimid. He was born 25 Aug 1808 and was baptized the same day in St-Michel d'Yamaska. His godparents were (his maternal grandfather) Louis Schmid (signature) and Marie Dorrion (?) (signature). [1]
On 20 Jan 1834, in Louiseville (St-Antoine-de-Rivière-du-Loup), Louis Labbé adult son of Michel Labbé and Dorothée Smith married Euphémie Mino (signs Euphimie Mineau) adult daughter of Pierre Mino and Angélique Démarais. Witnesses included both fathers who sign along with the bride and groom. [2]
Louis Labbé, 69 year old hudband of Mathilde Mineau, died 11 mar 1878. He was buried 2 days later in St-Michel d'Yamaska cemetery. [3]
