Biography

According to the 1911 Canadian Census, Alfred Laberge was born in September 1866 in Châteauguay, Quebec, Canada. His parents were Napoleon Laberge and his wife, Philomene [Unknown] Laberge.

In 1891, Alfred Laberge was still single at 24, and living on his own in St. Joachim, Châteauguay, Quebec. Between 1891 and 1901, Alfred married Rose-Noemie Cecire (Cecyre), b: 26 March 1874, and the couple set up a house in St. Joachim. On the 1911 Census their oldest son was 16, making him born in 1894. Thus, the couple must have married around 1893.
