Marie Emelie Labossiere was born Nov. 22, 1824 at St-Antoine-sur-Richelieu and she was baptized there the next day. She was the sixth child of ten and the second daughter of five for Pierre Labossiere, and Marie Angelique Lamoureux. Sadly, Marie Emilie died Sept. 3, 1825 at only about 9 1/2 months old. She was buried two days later. She was the only infant death in this family.
