Virginie Labossière-131 was born June 21, 1867 at Sutton and she was baptized there on Dec. 29, 1867. She was the fifth child of seven and the fourth daughter of six for Laurent Labossière and Petronille Bourassa. She had seven older half siblings from her father's first two marriages.
Virginie was not baptized for about six months. Several of her older siblings had not been baptized for many years, but most were baptized two years after Virginie. Her parents were "remarried" in a Catholic Church in 1870, three years after Marie's baptism, so this may explain why the Catholic baptism was now allowed.
Four of Marie's siblings all died within a five week period between June 1 and July 9, 1871. It is not known when or where she died, but it is expected she had passed away by or about 1930.
