Biography

Georges Labourière was born and baptized on 26 July 1832 in Kamouraska (St-Louis).[1], son of Jean Baptiste Labourière dit Laplante and Marie Marguerite Chorette (sic).

Marie Philomène Godier, daughter of François-Xavier Godier and Olive Blanchet, of Cap-St-Ignace, married George Laplante, son of Jean Laplante and Marie Charest (deceased), on 31 May 1864 in Cap-St-Ignace[2]

This George(s) must have died in the 1870s, as the widowed Philomène Godier married Paul Moreau in 1877 in Cap-St-Ignace.
