Marguerite was born about 1855, the daughter of Felix Mignot dit Labrie and Exoré Colin. Her father died in 1855, and her mother remarried 15 years later. The family moved from Quebec to New Brunswick, where she remained the rest of her life.
Marguerite married Florent Albert around age 24, though the exact date is currently not known. She passed away in 1894 at age 39.
