Biography

Lottie Lacey was born on 2 December 1891 in Washington, USA. She was the daughter of Edward Lacey and Melvina McArthur. [1]

Lottie was a teacher.

She married John David Middleton Burness, son of Mary Isabella Burness, on 10 October 1916 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA.[2]

In 1965 she married Oscar Haffner.

Mrs Lottie Burness Haffner, 95, of Rochester NY formerly of Pittsfield died after a long illness. Born Dec 2 1981 in Washington State, she was the daughter of Edward and Melvina Lacey. While in Pittsfield she was a teacher.

She married Oscar Haffner in 1965. He died in 1979.

Mrs Haffner leaves her son Donald Burness of Rochester, and two daughtersm Nrs Mary Anne Dobson of NY and Mrs Jean Platz, of Poland, Ohio. Berkshire Eagle 9 Dec 1986 pg 10
