William was born in 1857. He is the son of William Lacey and Elizabeth Knight.[1]
In 1861, William, aged 4, was living with his family in South Street, Grasby.[2] Aged 14, he was listed as an agricultural labourer in 1871, still living in Grasby.[3] In 1881, William was registered at Clixby Lane, although no occupation is given.[4]
William then goes missing until 1911. Assuming this is the right person, he was married to Emily and was a nursery gardener living at Sculcoates, East Yorkshire.[5]
He possibly passed away in 1946 in Hull, Yorkshire.[6]
