John Lacey II was born in 1723 to John and Rachel (Heston) Lacey. He would marry Jane Chapman on March 14, 1746, in Pennsylvania. Together they would have the following children:

John owned three hundred acres on Lahashakee Creek, near Wrightstown and Wycombe, Pennsylvania. At one point he was appointed one of the Justices of the Peace for the County of Bucks. John built a grist Mill on the Lingohocken Creek, Mill Creek in 1743. The John Lacey Homestead was built on Township Line Road in 1755.
