- Sarah was born July 2, 1804 in Roane County, TN.
- She married William Sewell about 1829 in Roane County, Tennessee.
- Soon after their marriage they moved to what is now Phelps County, Missouri.
- They had four children: Nancy Jane, Eliza Catherine, George Whitfiled, and William Levi.
- She married John Miller on Sept. 8, 1838, and they had one child.
- She passed away after the 1850 census in Crawford County, Missouri.
