Daniel Lacey was born in New Jersey. [1]
In 1818, he purchased land in Hamilton county, Ohio.[2] The property was eventually sold before 1843.
By 1830, Daniel and his family were living in Vermillion county, Indiana, in what became Highland township.[3]
Notes
"Lucy Ann Abbott...married Garrett, son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Petit) Lacey of New Jersey."[4]
From an unsourced family tree handed down to Gareth Putnam: "Daniel was born in 1774. He passed away in 1845. "
Garry Bryant citing an Email from Norma (Lacy) Fritts. (2000), states that: "Daniel Lacy - Born 6 July 1774" was a son of Richard Lacey (1735-1811) and his wife Esther (Unknown) Lacey. [5]
