The 1910 U.S. Census lists Truman at age 6 with his parents and three other siblings, Helen age 14, Harold age 12, and George at age 2 living in their own home at 54 Pennsylvania Ave. in Binghamton Ward 5, Broome County, New York. Truman's father Arthur was an architect. [2]
The family lived in the same house for the 1920 U.S. Census with Truman at age 16 living at home with his parents and siblings. Helen and Harold were now in their early twenties and younger brother George was now 12. [3]
Truman married Grace Virginia Howser on June 21, 1928 in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York. Grace was the daughter of Alton T. Howser and Maude (Smith) Howser.[4]
The 1930 U.S. Census shows Truman and Grace living in a rented house at 52 Exchange St. in Binghamton, Broome County, New York. Truman was now 26 years old working like his father as an architect, Grace was 23.[5]
In the 1940 U.S. Census, Truman is shown to be 35 years old with his wife and 5 month old daughter Virginia R. Lacey, living in their own home in Fenton, Broome County, New York. [6]
Truman Arthur Lacy died in July of 1964 in New York. [7]
