Research Notes

William Lackey's Will was signed on May 27, 1820. The probate date is not known.

A William Lackey from Iredell County, North Carolina filed a Revolutionary War Pension application from Lawrence County Alabama in 1832. In 1848, an Elizabeth Lackey in Lawrence County, Alabama said that she was the wife of William Lackey of Rowan and later Iredell County, North Carolina and that he died on Mar 25, 1848.

Burial: Possibly at the Stevenson Cemetery, Vashti, Alexander County, North Carolina

There are Census Records for at least two William Lackeys in Iredell County from 1790 till 1820. There is also an estate file for a William Lackey in 1822 and 1833. Perhaps, family researchers could help unravel the William Lackeys and post the results here.
