Edmund was the oldest son of Patrick Lacy and Lucy Anketill.[1][2]
He married Joan/ Jane, daughter of Jenkin Conway in 1717.[1] Given the Glanbegh connection and that James, Edmond and Thomas Conway are parties to releasing Joan's marriage portion, it seems reasonable to deduce that this Jenkin is the son of Christopher Conway and Joan Roche.
"The Blennerhassett Pedigree" states that "Edmund, first son of Patrick and Lucy Anketill, by Jane Conway has issue three sons and five daughters "anno 1733",[2] other sources refer to them as cousins.
He is mentioned in his brother's will of 1750 along with his brother Patrick, sister Frances, and nieces Lucy Lacy and Joan McMahon.[3]
He died in 1753.[4]
