Biography

Private Levi Ladd Sr served in the United States Army in World War I
Service started: 26 Jul 1918
Unit(s): Hq Co 22 Inf to Feb. 28, 1919; Co B 22 Inf to disch.
Service ended: 16 May 1919


Levi was born on June 6th, 1900[1].

He enlisted as a Private in the US Army during World War 1 at RA Ft. Slocum, New York on July 26, 1918, a month before his brother John was drafted. He was in Hq Co 22nd Infantry until Feb 28, 1919 then Co B 2nd Infantry to discharge. He did not see overseas service and was honorably discharged on a Surgeon's Certificate of Disability on May 16, 1919.[2]

He was living in Brooksville, ME with his parents in 1920.[3] He passed away in 1953 and buried at Floral Park Cemetery , Pittsfield, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.[4]
