Frederick William was born in 1846, in Surrey, England, the first son of Frederick William Ladmore and Sarah Gurner.[1]
In 1849 Frederick and Sarah, and sons Frederick and Henry, emigrated to Australia as free settlers and arrived in Adelaide, South Australia, on 19 December 1849, on the ship "Minerva".[2]
The family settled in the Mogo area on the south coast of New South Wales in the late 1850's. It is not known why they moved there from South Australia, possibly because gold was mined in the area from 1851.
He never married.
He died in 1921 in Batemans Bay.[3]
