Marie VanDeMark passed away peacefully with her loved ones around her on November 20, 2005 in Pensacola, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel VanDeMark, parents Ettiene and Eva Ladner, brothers Victor, Harold (Blackie) and Edward Ladner, sisters Hilda Harrison, Nora Lewis, Lorene Davis, Hattie Ladner, Henrietta Young and Doris Miller. Also preceding her in death was daughter, Caroline Wilson and grandchildren, Christine Bunch, Dee Brown and Larry Baker.

Survivors include her daughters; Jeanette Metcalf (Charles), Judy Wilson (Doug), and Danah Carner; her sons; Robert Ladner (Lisa) and David VanDeMark (Janice); 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. VanDeMark has resided in Pensacola for 18 years and previously lived in Ocean Springs for 27 years where she was an active member of La Dansue Mardi Gras Club and the Pascagoula Homemakers Extension Club. She was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Pensacola. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Her family will miss her terribly, but rejoice as she has gone home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. Pallbearers will be Mrs. VanDeMark's grandsons; Randy Metcalf, Greg Wilson, Burt Ladner, Brian VanDeMark, James Bunch, Dan VanDeMark, Jeffrey Bunch and great-grandson Jason Hallford. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Highway 49 North Chapel of Riemann Funeral Home where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
