Marie was born in 1801. She is the daughter of Joseph Ladner and Rosalie Fayard. [1]

In the 1850 census Mary (age 48) was in Jackson, Mississippi, United States.[2]

Gary, you can go to the dna section above and enter your test info into this and then it will then show that you have tested instead of the no known carriers.
Although it says "No known carriers of Marie's mitochondrial DNA have taken an mtDNA test and no close relatives have taken a 23andMe, AncestryDNA, or Family Tree DNA "Family Finder" test", I know of at least two. One of them is me.
