Ola married Moise Pitre. In 1920, they were living in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. They had three children in the home - Austin, Euline, and Hurshel[1]
In 1930, they still lived in Evangeline Parish and were listed with the following children: Austin Pitre, Evline Pitre, Hurshel Pitre, Francois Pitre, George Pitre, Rose Pitre. Ola is listed as Alla P.[2]
In 1940, they lived in the same house as in 1930 and were listed with the following children still living at home: Auston Petre, Hershel Petre, Frank Petre, George Petre, Rosemary Petre, Wilfred Petre, Mae Monia Petre, Anne Patsy Petre
She is noted as the mother in her daughter Rose Mary (Pitre) Gallard's death record (1946). [3]
A Mrs. Moise Pitre is buried next to MoisePitre in the Old Ville Platte Cemetery; born - May 10, 1895; died - June 4, 1961. The inscription reads, "Mother".[4]
