Biography

Zenon was born 28 April 1822 and baptized 5 months later in Opelousas, Louisiana. He was the son of Marcelin Lafleur and Modeste Larose Fontenot. [1]

He married Louisa Stagg, the daughter of Philippe Stagg and Josephine Guillory, on 2 Dec 1842 in Opelousas, Louisiana. [2]

He died on 15 Oct 1870 and was buried in the Old Grand Prairie Cemetery, Grand Prairie near Washington, Louisiana. His succession was filed in Opelousas a few weeks after his death. [3] [4]
