Biography

Josephte Lafond, daughter of Jean Baptiste Lafond and Françoise Frigon was born on February 1, 1752 and baptised five days later in Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan, Canada, New France. [1]

She married Pierre Brousseau, son of Luc Brousseau and Madeleine Orson, on February 2, 1767 in Sainte-Geneviève-de-Batiscan, Province of Québec.[2]

Josephte widow of farmer Pierre Brousseau died on August 10, 1821 and buried the next day at Saint-Pierre-les-Becquest parish. Were present at funeral André Demers, Augustin Mailhot and many others which no one was able to sign. [3]
