Thélesphore and his twin brother, Joseph, were born on September 27, 1872 to parents, Onésime Lafrenière and Emelie Rourde; they were baptized the same day at Saint-Paulin Roman Catholic Church in Saint-Paulin, Makinongé, Quebec. [1]
