Biography

Otto was born in 1881. He married Elizabeth Bahlmann in 1930. Otto passed away in 1967.


Otto Lagerfeld was a German businessman, who in 1919 founded the German company Lagerfeld & Co, which imported evaporated milk. He was the son of a wine merchant from Hamburg, Tönnies Johann Otto Lagerfeld (1845–22 June 1931) and his wife Maria Lagerfeld, born Wiegels.[1] He was married to Elisabeth Bahlmann (1897–1978), daughter of the Catholic Centre Party local politician Karl Bahlmann, and they were the parents of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.[2][3][4]
