Agnes, daughter of Robert Laidlaw and Elizabeth Reive was born on 18 May 1835 and baptised in Lyne and Megget, Peebles-shire, Scotland.[1]
In the 1851 census Agnes (age 15) was the sister of William Laidlaw in Syart, Lyne and Megget, Peeblesshire.[2]
