Good morning Doug! No, I am not DEAD... I too saw some very strange information about me and my life on Ancestry. A couple of months ago I sent messages to 2 different Ancestry members, asking them to review the information about me. As of today neither member has responded to my message... Do you know of any way that I can correct this?

Doug Laidlaw

Penny, I see that you have been very active on Ancestry.com. The wedding photo of David Victor laidlaw showed marked similarities with my father, especially about the mouth, although the general shape of the face is different. Since we decided that you are descended from William "Shaffles" laidlaw and I am not, maybe there is a link somewhere? It was Ancestry.com that gave me the breakthrough to my Scottish ancestors, see William Laidlaw (abt.1844-1920)
