According to her baptism record, Elizabeth Sophia Lajambe was born 20 July 1858 and baptized on 21 July in St Colomban, Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. Her parents were Narcisse Lajambe and Christianne Desrocher of the Indian Land.[1]
According to her marriage certificate, she was born about 1858/1859 in Quebec, Canada, and was the daughter of Nelson Lajambe and Christine Des Rochers.[2]
Elizabeth Lajambe, 24, married William Martel, 23, on 14 Oct 1883 in Cornwall, Stormont, Ontario, Canada.[2]
