Biography
Elected to NZ Parliament as Member for Lyttleton 1951-57 Minister of Finance in the Holyoake Government 1960 till his death in office, while serving at MP in the Fendalton District
Lake was father to two children, Richard Hartley Robson Lake and Mary-Rose Lake and grandfather to three Oliver Harry Kent Lake, Benjamin Hartley Lake & Helen Ansell.
