Daniel was born in 1726 at Topsfield, Massachusetts, a son of Eleazer Lake and Lydia Ford. He married Sarah Bixby (2 Feb 1726 Salem, MA - 19 Feb 1815 Rockingham, VT), a daughter of George Bixby and Mary (Bailey) Bixby, on 30 Nov 1749

Daniel Lake, born 22 June 1726 in Topsfield, Massachusetts, died 26 September 1810 in Rockingham, Vermont, married to Sarah Bixby, born 1725, married 30 November 1749, are honored for patriotism in New Hampshire by the Daughters of the American Revolution:
1) CAPT NATHAN HALE, COL ENOCH HALE, SIGNED ASSOC TEST 1776;
2) JUST OF PEACE 1777; COMM. SAFETY 1778; CONSTITUTION COMM. 1781
Their son Henry Lake, born 19 September 1759 in Topsfield, Massachusetts, married Prudence Lovejoy, born 22 April 1762 in Topsfield, Massachusetts.[1]
He passed away in 1810 at Rockingham, Vermont.
