Military: May 16, 1776, Age 37, Dorchester County, Maryland, US Was commissioned Captain of a company, 69 privates, Dorcester County Militia in Col. Wm. Travers' Battalion, Brigadier-General Henry Hooper's Corps, May 16, 1776; recommissioned Captain July, 1778.

Henry was born in 1739. He passed away in 1804.

Henry Lake, only son of Henry Lake, Sr., was born 1739, died November 20, 1804, married Rhoda Jewett about 1762, commissioned Captain of a company, Dorchester County Militia in Col. Wm. Travers' Battalion, Brigadier-General Henry Hooper's Corps, May 16, 1776; recommissioned Captain July, 1778.[1]
