Biography
Gertie was born in 1894 to Allen and Margaret (McCumber) Lake.[1]
Charles Henry Burgess and Gertie Lake married on 28 Apr 1909 in Brookville, Hants, Nova Scotia. He was 21 years old at the time and she was 18. Charles was born around 1888 in Walton, Nova Scotia and he was the son of George Burgess. Gertie was born around 1909 in Brookville, Nova Scotia and she was the daughter of Allen and Maggie Lake. [2]
She died in 1926.[3]
