FUNERAL SERVICES TOv BE HELD ON TUESDAY
Taylor Lakin, a retired implement salesman of Rushville, died this morning at 8:15 o’clock at his rooming house, 124 East third street, death being sudden, and probably due to a heart attack. The deceased was 78 years of age, and had spent practically all of his life in this city. He had been in poor health for several months, but was not considered critical. Soon after his breakfast this morning, he collapsed. :His wife Alice Lakin and a son, Harry Lakin, preceded him in death several years ago.
He is survived by a grandson Robert Lakin in California, and distant relatives here. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the residence of his niece, Mrs. Wilbur Stiers, in charge of the Rev. E. L. Hutchens, and burial will be made in East Hill cemetery.[3]
