Alphonse was born October 5, 1846 and baptized the following day in St-Ignace-de-Coteau-de-Lac, Canada East. He was the son of Jean Baptiste Lalonde and Marie Josephe Monpetit [1]
In the 1851 Canadian Census, he is living with his parents in Québec [2]
Alphonse married Eveline St.Denis July 24, 1871 in South Plantagenet, Prescott and Russell, Ontario, Canada. His birth year is estimated as 1849 and Avelines's as 1851. Witnesses are Joseph Lalonde and Joseph St.Denis. Their parents are listed as Baptiste Lalonde and Gasette and Baptiste ST. Denis and gasette (Josephte?) [3]
