Marcy married Thomas Lincoln 7 July 1747 at Windham, Connecticut. [1]

There has been speculation about the identify of Marcy's parents. Many family trees have her parents as Ebenezer Lamb and Mary Hill; however, no birth records are available to prove this. Marcy may have also been the daughter of Captain Joshua Lamb, who was appointed to the committee for the division of land at Woodstock in 1713.

Thomas and Mercy had six children: an unnamed child who died at birth in1748; Benjamin, born in 1750; Jeremiah, born in 1751; Prudence, born in1754; Oliver, born in 1756; and Jonah, born in 1757. Thomas and Marcy were members of the Congregational Church at Windham; Marcy was admitted to the church in October 1748.[2]

Marcy died a year after the birth of Jonah, on 5 April 1758, at the age of about 31.[3] Some sources give a date of death for Thomas in 1795.

Thomas and Marcy's daughter Prudence married her first cousin, once removed, Samuel Lincoln, bringing two branches of the Lincoln Family together again.
