Lucy Lamb was born in Leicester, Worcester County, Massachusetts, 5 August 1758, the daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Richardson) Lamb.[1] She married in Charlton, Worcester County, 28 April 1785, Adams Wheelock.[2]
On 3 July 1787 Lucy Wheelock along with her husband Adams Wheelock, and her siblings Jonathan and Nathan Lamb sold to David Lamb (also her sibling) a parcel of land in Spencer that they had inherited from their father, Jonathan Lamb.[3]
She died in Charlton 27 Jan 1799 at the age of 41,[4] and is buried in the Northside Cemetery in Charlton.[5]

The proof is in Worcester County deed 103:34, dated 3 July 1787, in which Lucy Wheelock along with her husband Adams Wheelock, Jonathan Lamb, and Nathan Lamb sold to David Lamb a parcel of land in Spencer that they had inherited from their father, Jonathan Lamb. Lucy, Jonathan, Nathan, and David were siblings; births recorded in Leicester, all children of Jonathan and Elizabeth (Richardson) Lamb.
Her birth date, 5 Aug 1758, agrees with the age carved on her headstone (41 years).
Also, the 26 June 1821 will of Abijah Lamb refers to his daughter as Lucy Wells, which could plausibly be read as "Lucy Welok", though Lucy (Lamb) Wheelock was deceased by that date. But another deed makes it crystal clear. In this deed (Worcester County 160:453, dated 15 Oct 1804) the children of Abijah and Betty sold property their mother inherited from her father, David Wheelock. The deed refers to Lucy as Lucy Wells, the husband of Abel Wells. So Lucy (Lamb) Wheelock can't be the daughter of Abijah and Betty.
So, if no objections, I'm going to modify the wikitree to reflect this.
