Biography

George was born in 1901 to William James & Catherine Lamb . In 1922, George married Muriel Roberts. He passed away in 1951 and was buried in the Rookwood Independent Cemetery, New South Wales. [1][2][3]

George served in the Australian Army during WW2.[4]

Research Note

George's birth year is recorded in Army records as 1904, probably to enable enlistment in 1939. His age at his death in February 1951 is recorded as 49, compatible with his birth record of 1901.
