Removed middle name of Watson, since no records are shown with that. If you have a source, please add it.

If someone has a source for his marriage to Patience Pittman, please add it. Otherwise she should be detached. The only marriage record I located for a Hardy Lamb is to Winifred Boswell, 23 Aug 1790, Bertie, NC. [1] Berie is not adjacent to Wayne county, so I am wondering if this belongs to this Hardy. My guess would be no...

There is a NC land grant to Hardy Lamb dated 24 Apr 1779 in Dobbs, NC for 200 acres 'beginning at Jacob Lamb's corner'. [2]

Wayne County was formed in Nov 1779 from the western part of Dobbs County. As such, the 1790 census record following would be him.

There is a Hardy Watson on the 1790 Wayne, NC census with 3 males <16, 1 male >16, 4 females. [3] If this is him, this would be a marriage prior to Winifred Boswell.

His estate was probated May 1811 in Wayne County, NC. I haven't located a will. If someone has it, please add it here. [4]

Hardy Lamb was not named in the will of Jacob (the attached father). There was a Hardy Watson named, who I believe was married to Jacob's daughter Rhoda. So who was Hardy Lamb . . .?
