Mary Lambert ... [1]

Mary Lambert and Thomas Paine were married on September 27, 1759, at St. Peter's Church, Sandwich, Kent.[2]

They moved to Margate after his shop in Sandwich failed, and there Mary went into early labor, dying along with their child.[3] A number of historical websites say that she died in 1760. According to the England Deaths and Burials Index, she was buried in Kennington, Kent, on November 13, 1761.[4]
