Magdeleine Lambert was born about 1798 in Louisiana, New Spain.
She was the daughter of Pedro Lambert and Maria Belleneuve.
Magdeleine married Elias Rivet, son of Blaise Rivet and Marie Magdalene Noel, on 13 January 1817 at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville, Ascension Parish, Louisiana, USA. Witnesses were Gregoire LeBlanc and Edouard Landry.
The early censuses prior to 1850 did not name individuals other than heads of households, grouping other household members by age. Based on what is known about family members through other sources, Magdeleine was probably counted in her husband's household in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, with their children, during the 1820 and 1830 censuses.
