ROME — Harry Lambert, a native of England, who made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Winfield A. Smith, Jervis Ave., died yesterday after a six-month illness.
Born Jan. 25, 1861, he was the son of Edwin and Emma Garret Lambert and came to this country in 1881.
He was married in Rome in 1886 to the former Hannah Vale, who died in 1921. He was a Methodist. A retired iron worker, one time he was employed by the Rome Merchant Iron Mills.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Smith is another daughter, Mrs. William Pittis, Seattle, Wash.; a son, H. Glenn Lambert, Washington, D. C; a sister, Mrs. E. L.
