In the 1940 census Clara (age 43) was the wife of William M Taylor in Lamar, Texas.[2]
Will's daughter Taylor was born on 16 May 1928 in Biardstown, Lamar, Texas, United States.[3]
Clara died (age 87) in August 1984 residing at 75460, Paris, Lamar, Texas, United States.[4]
Clara died on 4 August 1984 and was buried in McDonald Cemetery, Paris, Lamar County, Texas, United States.[5]
Born in Lamar County, daughter of Alfred Lambert and Annie Marie Melton. She married William M. Taylor in Lamar County. He preceded in her in death in January, 1957. She was a member of the Belmont Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. C. A. Richardson of Paris; Mrs. Jim Wood of Paris; a step daughter, Mrs. Quincy McCool of Paris; 4 sons, W.O. Taylor, of Powderly; Bill Taylor, of Powderly; James Taylor of Paris; and J. T. Taylor of Mesquite; a step son H. R. ‘Bud’ Taylor, of Paris; a sister, Mrs. Lee Barber of Powderly; 25 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jim Taylor; a step son Willie Taylor, and 3 step daughters, Mrs. Gladys McFadden, Mrs. Ruby Melton and Mrs. Lela Barber.
