Descendant of Hezekiah Lambert.

William was born June 11, 1861 in Illinois, probably in Johnson County. He was the son of James Lambert and Margaret Burns.

1870 - living in Johnson Co. (post-office Reynoldsburg) with his parents and siblings. Age 8.[1]

1880 - living in New Burnside, Johnson Co., with parents and siblings.[2]

1882 - married Alice Gilliam in Johnson Co. In the marriage register, William is listed as living in Johnson Co.; occupation farmer.[3] 1886 - August 14, birth of son Guy.

1888 - death of Alice.

1890 - March 30, married Olive Yandell.

1900 - William, Ollie, and Guy are living in Creal Springs, Williamson Co., IL. William is listed as a butcher.[4]

1920 - William & Ollie are still living in Creal Springs, Williamson Co. William is listed as a farmer.[5]

1930 - Still in Creal Springs, farmer.[6]

1940 - Living in Creal Springs, no occupation listed. [7] William died on November 14. He was buried in Robinson Cemetery, Johnson County.[8]
