In the 1850 census, Josiah is listed next to Hickman (Lambert-7505); both born TN, just about a year apart. Could they be brothers?

Josiah Lambert BIRTH 1824 DEATH 1867 (aged 42–43) Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA BURIAL Mount Pleasant Cemetery Prentiss County, Mississippi, USA Josiah and Avis "Avy" Willis were licensed to marry at the now historic Jacinto Courthouse which, in 1844, was the county seat of "Old" Tishomingo County. On April 15, 1870, "Old" Tishomingo was split into the three present day counties of Alcorn, Prentiss and "New" Tishomingo. It has been said that Josiah was carried to the cemetery on a ground slide pulled by a team of oxen. Sometime after his death, some of Josiah's sons, including James A. Lambert and Hickman "Hick L" Lambert, moved to the Ellis County, Texas area. They later sent money for their mother Avis "Avy" (Willis) Lambert to visit them. During her visit in October 1893, Avy died and was buried in Bee Creek Cemetery which is between the towns Maepearl and Waxahachie, Ellis County, TX.

Lambert-7335 and Lambert-3498 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate son of John & Nancy. No documented source for either death date; both can be listed in the merged bio pending confirmation.

Marvin, does Lambert-7505 look like the Hickman Lambert who was John & Nancy's son?

I was born on Johns property in Mississippi (now Burnsville) My dad received the land from Johns Grandson (his Grandfather William Henry) I was born and grew up about one half mile from Lambert Graveyard (now Opossum trot) and where Lambert Chapel School originally stood. if you have more information on William I would love to have it.
