Robert Lambert was born about 1748. He lived in Aberdeen in Scotland and in Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. In 1762 he was apprenticed to a John Dunlop in Berwick and on 21 Jul 1769 was admitted as a Freeman of Berwick [1]. He married
Jean Urquhart on 31 Oct 1774 at St Nicholas Church, Aberdeen, Scotland [2]. At the time of his marriage he was a Cooper [3]
