James Lamberton was born in Ireland.

James Lamberton was born in Ireland in about 1828, son of William Lamberton and Elizabeth Garrick.

He emigrated to the United States and lived much of his adult life in New York as a farmer.

On 15 October 1850 the Irish born Lamberton family lived in Mooers, Clinton, New York, USA [1] John Lamberton (28) Wheelwright, Susanna Lamberton (23) & James Lamberton (22) Farmer.

On 1 July 1863 Irishmen John Lamberton (44) Wheelwright & James Lamberton (36) Farmer, lived in Mooers Forks, New York during the US Civil War. [2]

On 12 July 1870 the Lamberton family lived in Mooers, Clinton, New York. [3] James Lamberton (44) Farmer & Mary Lamberton (40) with Jacob Lamberton (15), James Lamberton (13), W John Lamberton (12), Saml Lamberton (11) & George Lamberton (7).

He passed away in 1893 [4] and was buried at the Mooers Forks Union Cemetery, Moores Forks, New York. [5] [6]
