[1] In 1873, Benjamin married Mary Elizabeth Shockley, born in 1855, in Osage county, Missouri, a daughter of Hiram Thomas Shockley and Nancy Jane Ousley. They became the parents of Jesse Franklin Labeth, born August 26, 1874, in Laclede county, Missouri. Mary Elizabeth (Shockley) Lambeth died in 1880, in Missouri. In 1884, Benjamin married Bridget Jane Johnson, daughter of Henry F. Johnson 1818-England-1878 in Missouri and Elizabeth Jane Barbara 1826-1903 married in 1859 in Schulyer county, Missouri. They had children: 1. Bertha Dell 1887-1977 2. William Lonzo 1893-? 3. Benjamin died in 1899, in Laclede county, Missouri and is buried in the Lambeth Cemetery in Lebanon Township, Laclede county, Missouri. [2]
