Biography

Earl A. Lamere was born on April 7, 1909, in Michigan. He was the son of Alexander and Sadie (Johnson) Lamere. He married Ethel Fidelis Wilson on April 21, 1934, in Flint, Michigan.

Earl and Ethel owned a drug store and Earl was a pharmacist (druggist). They had three children during their marriage. Earl died on December 1, 1984, in Bay City, Michigan, at the age of 75, and was buried in Huron, Michigan.

Age 75 Passed away Saturday, December 1 at Bay Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1909 in Linwood. Son of the late Alexander and Sadie (maiden name Johnson) LaMere.

He was a graduate of Wayne University College of Pharmacy and the Detroit Chiropractic College.

Dr. LaMere is survived by three sons, Robert A. of Eaton Rapids, Gerald B. of Grand Ledge, and William E. of Bay City, eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ethel in 1979.

Funeral Mass will be conducted 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 3 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Pigeon. Rev. Father Ben Skornia will officiate with burial in the Church cemetery. Scripture Service will be Sunday 8:30 P.M. Friends may call at the Shetler-Bussema Funeral Home, Pigeon.
