In 1871 a Dugald Lamont, born c.1828 Muckairn, is the head of a household in Dalavich Argyl, with a wife Catherine Campbell (born 1814 Glenorchy), daughter Mary (b.1854) and son Dugald (1857). They live at 4 Kames (St?) and he works as a 'general servant'.
Dugald and Catherine appear to have married Jan 27, 1850 in 'Glenorchy and Inishail'. Children are Donald (1850), Duncan (1853), Mary and Dugald.
In 1881 Dugald lives in Kilchrenan with son Duncan and his young wife Emily and his baby daughter. He is a 'fisherman'. In 1891 Dugald is living with his son Duncan (and his wife Emily and children). He works as a 'boatman'.
