In 1900 Joseph and Nellie were living on Water Street in Malone, New York with 8 children. Joseph was a stone mason. He, Nellie and all their children were born in New York state. The couple were married in 1880. Census indicated that Nellie had 9 living children.[1]
1910 shows Nellie as a widow, raising 4 children. Also in residence was her father, John Lamontagne (70).[2]
In 1920 Nellie was renting a home in Springfield, Massachusetts. She had 6 children living with her.[3]
