Joseph was born in early 1820, baptized 29 Mar 1820 at City of London Lying-In Hospital, City Road, Finsbury Islington, England. He was later Christened 16 Apr 1820 at SAINT MARTIN IN THE FIELDS, WESTMINSTER, LONDON, ENGLAND. He is the son of Jonathan Lancaster and Rebecca Stubbs.
