Leonard married Rayolla Goodill in 1946.[1]
He married Nancy Dilts in 1951.[2]
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Leonard William Lancaster announces his passing on Sunday, August 28, 2011 in Cranbrook British Columbia at 85 years of age.
Len was born on February 19, 1926 in Fernie, British Columbia. A lifelong rancher, Len lived on and ran the Red Creek Ranch in Grasmere, British Columbia for many years.
Len will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife Nancy; his sister Alice Slee; his children Dave (Judy), Stan (Sue), Darlene Bedell (Dale Fagin), Karen (Barry) Barton, Jody Baher (Brett Gunderson), Jim (Nadine); his daughter-in-law Linda; 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers Warren and Cyrus; his grandson Cam and his first wife Rayolla.
A memorial service for Len was held at the Grasmere Community Hall on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm. His Interment will be in the Rooseville Cemetery.
